Kuala Lumpur; January, 28th 2005 – Berjaya Starbucks Coffee Company Sdn Bhd opens its first doppio concept Starbucks Coffee outlet in a hospital. The store located at Sunway Medical Centre in Bandar Sunway marks the company’s 56th retail outlet in Malaysia.
“We are very excited with this opening as it marks a milestone in our expansion in Malaysia, we hope to provide a comfortable environment and enhance the experience of those who visit Sunway Medical” said Eric Khoo, executive director of Berjaya Starbucks Coffee Company Sdn Bhd.
In conjunction with the opening, Starbucks Coffee Sunway Medical will be offering a complimentary DoubleShot® iced shaken espresso with every purchase of the same beverage.
The opening activities include a musical performance by children from Precious Home, an orphanage adopted by Sunway Medical Centre.
