Experience the magic of Starbucks where every sip is a journey of excellence. Together with this Bearista, discover a range of Starbucks brewing methods, from the classic coffee press & pour-over, elegant siphon brewer & Chemex, and the cutting-edge Starbucks Draft Nitro.

Created by the students of Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA), this Bearista showcases a vibrant fusion of pop and tropical hues, inviting all to celebrate the joy of coffee and art.

Chin Yun Fei

Chin Yun Fei is a budding artist from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, currently studying Illustration at the Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA).

She's been drawing since she was young, creating art that reflects her cheerful and unique personality. Chin Yun Fei enjoys using digital tools and traditional materials like charcoal, pencils, and acrylics. Her style is often cute and simple, and she loves exploring different artistic styles. She's known for her flat illustrations and likes trying out new techniques and sharing ideas with other artists.

Chin Yun Fei has received recognition for her work, winning the Jury’s Special Prize in the MyTIGER Values Art Competition 2023 for her comic titled “What can make a depressed person feel better??? - friends and family edition.” She also received the Jury’s Choice Award in the 'From Masterclass to Masterpiece 2023' planner cover design contest, a collaboration between MIA Illustration Department and MONIN Asia.

Currently a student at MIA, Chin Yun Fei plans to continue her education after graduation. Her dream is to work as a freelance illustrator with a unique style, inspired by artists like Victo Ngai, and focusing on illustrating books, which reflects her passion for literature.

Ely Yee

Ely Yee is a emerging designer from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, studying Industrial Design at the Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA).

She's friendly and loves communicating, drawing inspiration from her experiences and exploration to create designs. Ely is keen on 3D modeling, making mock-ups, exploring sustainable materials, and creating art with mixed media. Her style features colorful, minimalist designs with a modern futuristic touch, focusing on sustainability and simplicity.

Ely has been recognized for her innovative work, winning Second Prize in the 3R Creativity LAMPU Competition 2024. Her winning project, ORI, a street lighting design inspired by Mah Meri (ethnic group) leaf origami, using Poly Aluminium (PolyAl) boards.

She plans to continue her education and dreams of being a creative industrial designer. She's passionate about designing models, products, and furniture that are sustainable and innovative. Ely Yee hopes her creativity and dedication will shape her future projects and help others.

Lim Zhi Wei

Lim Zhi Wei graduated from the Malaysian Institute of Arts (MIA) in 2023 with a Diploma in Fine Arts. Now based in Penang, Malaysia, her art is celebrated for its unique style focusing on water depictions. Zhi Wei captures the textures and emotions of water through her paintings, which are rich with abstract elements inspired by her life experiences.

Her distinctive artworks feature marks and traces that symbolize her personal journey. She has showcased her work in notable exhibitions, including the "YOUNG WILD & FREE #2" at Galeri Puteh in Kuala Lumpur in 2024 and the ‘23 International Students’ Workshop at Sozosha College of Design in Osaka, Japan.
